Aurora and I went with our friend Samantha to see "Princess and the Frog" and I, as usual, cried. It was much better than I anticipated. And it will definitely be on a regular rotation once we get it. I adore Prince Naveen. And MEOW! As Samantha pointed out MUCH Better looking than Aladdin!
And when we got home we made Papa Spud's birthday present (which was mostly inspired by this lovely french knot tutorial at Kirsty's). Yea I can make french knots! (yes, I know.. I should have done each individually... lesson learned).
It is currently very late (I'll be posting this sometime tomorrow). Baby Gavin - who we call baby to differentiate from Aurora's uncle Gavin, but is actually 15 mos- is sleeping on the floor next to me and I am sitting in the dark with a food network cake challenge giving off a soft glow and background noise. Mommy Sunny is filming some of her scenes for her brother's horror film. The film which has inspired me to join the Take Shape for Life Diet because I actually cried when I saw myself on his last video.
Tomorrow (Today by the time this post is up) I am envisioning spending all day upstairs in the craft room. There are green items to be made! Of course, I'll have to power through the laundry, dishes, vacuumming... etc, etc, you know the list. And I have NCIS waiting for me. So many delightful things to do I think I'll forgo that nap of which I've been dreaming.
And the really fun news for the weekend? MORGANA IS HERE! And Reptoslicer gave her a big welcome, though it was a bit startling I think she handled it quite well (she didn't curse him with Batbogeys or anything).
We are all ecstatic at our latest adoption! Her Magical leanings make her a perfect fit for The Burrow. I think she had already made herself right at home.
To see her other little friends please make sure to swing by their side of the wall.
And the Prize Giveaway (owl)ie is done! And being sent by post to Spain on Monday!
Since we don't want to ruin the surprise here is a tease.
Have a wonderful day!

I love the whimsical fish mobile!! It's so bright and fun.
You should do more of those and add them to your Etsy shop! Yes, you most definitely should.
